Playing Experience: Alex Strachan was a 4-year Varsity starter at Sparkman High School and played a pivotal role in the school’s State Championship Runner- Up season and was twice invited to the Amateur Team USA trials in Cary, NC. He then went on to play 5 seasons at Jacksonville State University, where he appeared in almost 200 career collegiate games.

Alex was a key piece of JSU’s regional run in 2019, where he hit 11 home runs and was named to the Ohio Valley Conference All- Tournament team. Alex spent 2023 as the hitting coach at Sparkman High School where he helped develop one of the best offenses in the state.
