Playing Experience: Drew Talley was a 2017 graduate of Huntsville High School. While at Huntsville High School, he was selected as 2016 Huntsville City Pitcher of the Year and 2016 Huntsville High Team MVP. He was also voted to be on both First-Team All-City and First-Team All-State.

Drew started his college career at the University of Memphis and recorded a 4.56 ERA as a freshman. After two years at the University of Memphis, he transferred to Wallace State where the season was cut short due to the pandemic. Drew transferred to Mississippi State as a junior and was a member of the 2021 National Championship team.

During his senior year, he led the team in ERA and appearances out of the bullpen. Drew graduated from Mississippi State with a Bachelor of Business Administration and Kinesiology degree and Master of Business Administration degree.
